Mathieu and AlexandrieThe season's very first kiss, and still one of its steadiest connections.

Imane and JacobNot a couple, but they knew each other before the show. Some viewers see an unfair head start.

The format changes everyone is talking about

Three twists define OD Panamá. First, newcomers decide: twice already, people who had just arrived chose who stayed. Second, the Sunday cliffhanger: elimination nights have ended without a name, with the result revealed the next day, which fuelled the Brian backlash. Third, the Pepito card, which in week 3 let two candidates shape the elimination without knowing it.

The upside for production is suspense. The downside, judging by the comments, is that the most loyal fans miss their Sunday ritual. Our weekly preview, who could leave this Sunday, breaks down what to expect next.

Podcasts and debriefs

Two shows now compete for the post-episode conversation. The official OD podcast is hosted this year by Jessica Roux and Rosemarie Santerre, after production brought it in-house. Rémi Desgagné, who used to welcome eliminated candidates, now runs his own weekly debrief, Ça reste entre nous, on YouTube. Fans tend to follow both.

After the villa: where OD candidates end up

For many candidates, the real story starts after the show. Occupation Double has become one of Quebec's biggest launchpads for creators, a trend we unpack in what happens to OD contestants after and why OD creates real careers.

Several creators represented by One Way came out of the franchise, starting with Ines Lalouad and Stevens Dorcelus, winners of OD dans l'Ouest. Today they work with brands like Sephora, Nespresso, Maison Perrier and Marshalls, and their latest campaigns are on our projects page. Brands who want to reach the OD audience can talk to our team.
