Week three finally gave fans what they had been asking for since the premiere: a real elimination, on a Sunday, with a name attached. Amélie is the one leaving Occupation Double Panamá, and the way she left may be the most generous exit of the season so far. Around it, a first kiss in a dressing room, a burst of tears, a surprise fishing date and a Pepito card that changed everything.

Amélie is out, and she chose it
After the deliberation, Jacob and Mathieu named Amélie as the candidate who had to leave. The flashback that followed changed the whole reading of the moment: earlier in the week, Amélie had told Mathieu she wanted to make the decision easier for him, and asked him to put her in the envelope. She did not want to take the place of a girl who had already built a real connection in the villa.
How the week 3 elimination actually worked
It started in Guatemala. On their getaway, Alexis and Zhara received the famous Pepito card: one girl would leave this week. Newcomers Alanna and Émilie were automatically safe, so Alexis and Zhara had to split the other women into two groups without knowing what those groups would be used for. Zhara's first instinct was to separate Emma and Imane, whom she sees as the two strongest personalities in the house.

At the elimination dinner, host Fred Robichaud then announced the real twist: only two boys would sit at the deliberation table, one chosen by each group. Sabrina, Imane and Rebecca sent Jacob. Emma, Zhara, Alexandrie and Amélie sent Mathieu. Two guys, one decision, and one of the women they had been getting to know would go home.
The kiss that shook the villa
The Pizza Salvatoré party set the tone. Billy pulled Emma aside to explain why he had not picked her for the activity, telling her she and Émilie were among his top choices. Later, he interrupted her date with Enzo to show her his dressing room, and between two shirts, Billy and Emma shared their first kiss. On the other side of the party, Jacob and Rebecca kissed again, with Jacob assuring her she is still his first choice.
The fallout came fast. When Emma told the girls about the kiss at the debrief, Enzo, for whom she was the main interest, was far from thrilled. So when he won a tuna fishing activity, he picked Sabrina, a choice that left Emma stunned. In the confessional, Enzo was clear: he left Emma out on purpose because the kiss had stung.

Tears, doubts and a truce
Émilie broke down at the debrief, saying she had a hard time at the party and did not feel wanted by the boys. At the elimination dinner, Emma added a twist of her own: she has started doubting Billy, who, in her words, seems to call every girl who talks to him his first choice. Fred pushed the women to tell the difference between exploring connections and actually developing an interest.
One conflict did get resolved. Rebecca took Imane aside to own up to calling her a hypocrite during her date with Jacob. Imane already knew, asked her to explain, and accepted her apology, closing one of the week's tensest storylines.
Meanwhile, off camera: an armed intrusion in the boys' villa
The biggest OD story of the weekend did not air on Noovo. During the night of Thursday to Friday, three armed men entered the boys' villa in Panamá while some participants were inside, a first in the show's twenty-year history according to La Presse. Productions J confirmed the incident and said all candidates and crew members are safe, that extra security measures were put in place with the national police, and that filming continues as planned, as reported by Narcity. Since episodes air about three weeks after filming, viewers may only see the candidates' reactions around mid-October, if production chooses to show them at all.
