Billy, 25, from Saguenay: power line technician, former soldier, Marilou's little brother and the most talked-about guy in the OD Panamá villa.
Saguenay, a few months before Panamá. Billy Bélanger spends his days on power lines, the kind of job where you climb high and fear is not an option. Before that came six years in the infantry and long stretches without a phone. The youngest of four kids, he signs up for the show that made his big sister Marilou a familiar face, knowing exactly what comes with it: everyone will be watching to see if he lives up to the name.
- 25 during filming, from Saguenay, power line technician after six years in the infantry
- Little brother of Marilou, finalist on OD dans l'Ouest (2021)
- Still in the villa after week 4, at the center of the Emma and Enzo triangle
Who is Billy Bélanger before OD Panamá?
His friends would describe the textbook gang guy: the one who makes the whole table laugh, who charms with his eyes, who lives for golf, music, DJ sets and the sun. His official profile tells the rest of the story. Behind the tough exterior is a sensitive guy, even shy at first, who takes his time before letting anyone in. His Instagram starts long before the cameras.
Then life opens up. He DJs, builds playlists on Spotify and has modeled for Simons. His guilty pleasure, according to Narcity: cuddling cats. Before leaving, he told La Tribune he simply wanted to live the adventure and find love. He calls himself endearing and funny, and says he is not afraid of looking ridiculous. His type? He does not really have one: if it fits, it fits.
"Si tu ne joues pas au golf, je vais te l'apprendre."
Billy, to La Tribune
Billy's OD Panamá season so far
He walks in loud, funny and sure of himself. He had even said he wanted the first kiss of the season. Within days, he is the name on every viewer's lips, for better and for worse.
Urbania's debrief calls out his self-centered moments, like stepping out of elimination talks. Then it catches him at his best: listening and supportive when his friend Alexis opens up.
Billy and Emma share a first kiss, one of the most replayed moments of the season. In the villa, it lands like a shockwave, especially for Enzo.
By then, Billy had become a conversation well beyond the villa. La Presse gave him a full column on September 21 under a headline that says it all: "Billy, qui le veut dans sa vie?". Online, Narcity counts roughly 10,000 new followers since the season started. And one of the last posts he shared before flying out now reads differently.
The real test starts now: can the guy who makes everyone laugh let someone see the shy one? Meet the two other corners of the triangle, Emma and Enzo, or catch up with everyone in our complete OD Panamá 2026 guide.
