Privacy Policy

One Way Agency (“One Way”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through agenceoneway.ca (the “Site”), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. It is written to meet Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form on the Site (contact form, talent or creator application, job application) or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your first and last name, email address, the subject and content of your message, and, for applications, details such as your social media handles, portfolio links or résumé.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, technical information may be collected through cookies and similar technologies: pages visited, date and time of visit, referring website, browser and device type, approximate location (city or region) and an IP address. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. Our hosting provider (Webflow) also processes technical logs needed to deliver and secure the Site.

3. Why we use it

• To answer your questions and requests and follow up on a potential collaboration.
• To evaluate talent, creator and job applications.
• To measure the Site’s audience and improve its content and performance.
• To keep the Site secure and prevent abuse.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We only use your information for the purposes stated when it was collected, or for compatible purposes, unless you consent otherwise or the law allows it. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Consent

By submitting a form or contacting us, you consent to the use of your information for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@agenceoneway.ca, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for Site operation and audience measurement (Google Analytics). You can refuse or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the Site will still work, though some statistics will not be collected. You can also block Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

6. Sharing your information

Your information is only accessible to One Way team members who need it for their work. We may share it with service providers acting on our behalf (for example, website hosting, analytics and email services), under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information when required by law.

7. Storage outside Quebec

Some of our service providers, including Webflow and Google, may store or process information outside Quebec, including in the United States. Before any such transfer, we assess whether the information will receive adequate protection, as required by law.

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. Contact requests and applications that do not lead to a business relationship are generally deleted or anonymized within 24 months.

9. Security

We use reasonable physical, technical and administrative measures to protect your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access, use or disclosure. The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the people concerned, as required by law.

10. Your rights

Subject to the law, you have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
• withdraw your consent;
• ask that information be deleted or that its dissemination stop;
• receive computerized information you provided in a structured, commonly used technological format.

To exercise these rights, write to info@agenceoneway.ca. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

11. Minors

The Site is not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect information from them without the consent of a parent or guardian.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated. Significant changes will be announced on the Site.
