Video production in Montreal, built to actually get seen

Most Montreal production houses stop at delivery: they hand you a finished file and the distribution plan is your problem. One Way runs video production and talent management under the same roof, so every brand film, commercial, or event capture we shoot is built from the start with a real audience and a real distribution plan in mind, not just a reel for someone's portfolio.

Brand films

Documentary-style films built around a founder, a team, or a milestone, the kind of story a 30-second ad can't carry.

Corporate video

Anniversary films, culture and recruitment videos, internal communications, and leadership interviews shot at a cinematic standard.

Event coverage

Galas, product launches, and conferences captured and turned around fast enough to still matter on social the next day.

Commercials & social content

Paid and organic-ready cuts built for the platform they'll actually run on, not a single master file resized four ways.

How a production runs at One Way

  1. Brief & concept. We start with what the video needs to do after it's shot, not just what it should look like.
  2. Casting & talent pairing. When a project calls for a face or a voice, we pull from our own talent roster instead of an outside casting call.
  3. Production. A crew that treats a corporate shoot with the same discipline as a commercial set.
  4. Post-production. Edit, color, sound, and motion design in-house, so nothing gets lost in translation between vendors.
  5. Delivery & distribution. Cuts built for where the video will actually live: broadcast, paid social, organic, or a press kit.

The people behind every shoot.

Joshua Chavarria

Lead Videographer, Director of Photography
Every production starts and ends with Josh - behind the camera, directing, or approving every frame that is.

Émile Dusfrene

Videographer & Editor
Brought in by name on bigger mandates - held to the same standard as Josh.
Beyond Josh and Émile, specialists join per mandate (photographers, drone operators, colourists) vetted the same way the first two were.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a corporate video cost in Montreal?

It depends on scope: a single-day interview-style shoot costs less than a multi-day brand film with a full crew and talent casting. We scope every project individually rather than working off a fixed rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is a short call.

Do you only produce videos with influencers or talent?

No. Talent casting is available when a project calls for a face or a voice, but a large share of our production work, corporate videos, event coverage, brand films, has no influencer involved at all.

How long does a typical production take, from brief to delivery?

A straightforward corporate video usually moves from brief to delivery in two to four weeks. Larger brand films with casting, multiple shoot days, or complex post-production take longer. Event coverage can turn around in as little as 24 to 48 hours when speed matters more than polish.

Do you shoot outside Montreal?

Yes. Our base is Montreal, but we shoot across Quebec and beyond when a project calls for it.

What's the difference between a brand film and a commercial?

A commercial is built to run as paid media in a fixed, short window. A brand film is longer-form and built to carry a story, a founder profile, an anniversary, a culture piece, and tends to live on owned channels and social rather than in an ad buy.

Can you handle post-production only, on footage we already shot?

Yes, our edit, color, and motion design team can take on post-production for footage shot elsewhere, though we'll always ask about the source footage quality before scoping the work.
