OD Panamá Double Elimination: Why Sabrina and Jacob Left on October 4

Everyone was waiting for one name. Two came out. On Sunday, October 4, the Occupation Double Panamá deliberation table sent Sabrina and Jacob home, breaking up two budding couples in one move and sparing Rebecca, Émilie and Alexandre, who many fans already had packing. Mathieu and Imane cried. The public did not see it coming at all.

Double elimination: two exits, two couples broken

Sabrina

Jacob

In our ONE WAY OUT poll, votes were split across five contestants: Zhara, Rebecca, Imane, Billy and Alexandre. Not one vote for Sabrina. Not one for Jacob.

Why everyone was betting on Rebecca

On paper, Rebecca's week looked like a countdown. First came the Barbados getaway with Jacob, where their kisses in the bed of Rihanna's childhood home drew criticism online. Then, on Tuesday, September 29, the Junta de Embarra, a rural Panamanian tradition where the community builds a newlywed couple's home together before throwing a party, kept Jacob and Imane side by side for an entire day.

Fans would not let the Imane theory go either. A photo of the two dated June 26 resurfaced, Jacob is a close friend of Imane's brother, and Imane had pulled him aside during one of the very first 5 à 7s. For many, that couple had a head start Rebecca could never close.

The secrets game sealed the doubt. It revealed that Rebecca sometimes makes guys wait at her bar when she is not interested, a red flag for Jacob, who had already told Billy she did not interest him that much.

October 4, scene by scene

Sunday opens with Emma and Enzo clearing the air: Jacob had apparently reported Enzo's words out of context to help Billy. The tone is set. Minutes later, Jacob tells Rebecca he feels closer to Imane. Rebecca suggests it is all about Instagram followers, Billy comforts her, and Jacob gives Imane a custom ring that makes her his top 1.

Elsewhere in the villa, the Mathieu, Alexandrie and Sabrina triangle tightens: Mathieu asks Sabrina for a kiss and she says no. Alanna and Tristan finally share their first kiss. The boys' debrief turns tense, Billy and Enzo go at it again, and Mathieu stops hiding his frustration.

Meanwhile, Alexandrie and Alexandre fly to Bogotá: a bouquet of flowers, a chocolate tasting, a chocolate scrub. Alexandre asks to kiss her, she declines, Mathieu is still her top 1. They still sleep close. Back at the villa, it blows up: the girls told Alexandrie during the lock-in before Sabrina could tell her herself, and the two clash.

Inside the deliberation room

Six contestants held the house's fate: Alanna, Billy, Enzo, Alexandre, Emma and Alexandrie, voting in secret. Emma wanted to save Rebecca. Billy and Enzo bickered again. Alexandre held his ground. In the end, the table sent Sabrina and Jacob home, a double elimination that undid Mathieu's triangle and the Jacob and Imane duo in a single announcement.

The ONE WAY OUT poll: who saw this coming?

Nobody. Our readers' votes were scattered across Zhara, Rebecca, Imane, Billy and Alexandre, and neither Sabrina nor Jacob got a single one. On social media, the names that came up most were Rebecca, Alexandrie and Alexandre. All three are still there. That is exactly what makes OD Panamá so hard to call this season, and why the poll is back this week.

Voting for the Sunday, October 11 elimination is open higher up in this article. Pick your contestant, and the public's verdict lands in your inbox before the show.

Behind the scenes: meanwhile, at One Way

The villa is only the start of the story. What comes after, we live up close with our talents. Pézie Beaudin, whom Quebec met on OD Greece, welcomes Thomas Levac on the new episode of On s'connait pas tant qu'ça, the podcast she co-hosts with Sansdrick: "Thomas Levac: Les ex, la célébrité & l'authenticité". A true OG of the show, Thomas talks openly about his path, his unusual take on work and success, life on set without an agent, his decision not to have children, and even an unexpected passion for the American Civil War.

But the moment that hits hardest this week is when he describes what it is like when a former couple becomes simple coworkers, then best friends. After a Sunday where two couples came apart on live TV, it reads almost like a gentle note to Mathieu and Imane: sometimes what ends makes room for something else. And his take on fake authenticity on social media and love bombing lands the very week Rebecca suspected it was all about Instagram followers.

Meanwhile, Ines Lalouad spent 48 hours in Los Angeles with MILK Makeup as part of the Sephora Squad Canada 2026. Her reel comparing behind-the-scenes footage with the final shots, captioned simply "Pinch me???", sums up what she does best: polished content that still feels real. The full story of her Sephora Squad trip is here.

And Stevens Dorcelus just wrapped a full summer with Maison Perrier: a carousel in July, a Perrier Chic mocktail evening in August with a contest for his community, then a closing reel in September. No lecture about drinking, just style and a good night that speaks for itself. See the Maison Perrier x Stevens Dorcelus campaign.
