OD Tentations au soleil: Two Mixed Houses, a Kissing Challenge and Olivier Caught in the Middle

OD Panamá becomes OD Tentations au soleil: who lives in which house, the kissing challenge gone sideways, and Olivier between Engie and Imane.

Monday night, Alicia Moffet had an announcement that changed everyone's week: OD Panamá is turning into OD Tentations au soleil. No more guys' house and girls' house. This week, every contestant moves in with their top 2, across two mixed houses. The result: shared beds, a past that resurfaces, and a first challenge that set the tone right away. The kissing challenge.

The 30-second version
  • OD Panamá becomes OD Tentations au soleil: every contestant lives with their top 2, in two mixed houses.
  • Olivier is serious about Engie, while Imane tells Engie that Olivier is her top 1.
  • Kissing challenge: Alanna and Jacob refuse, Alexandrie and Frédérick go through with it, without much conviction.

The twist

OD Tentations au soleil: how it works

The concept is simple, and ruthless: for one week, every contestant lives with the people in their top 2. They share daily life, meals and, the detail that changes everything, they sleep together. One week to find out whether a connection really holds up once the cameras follow you into the bedroom.

Before the move, the girls took a moment to set their boundaries for the week, Émilie among them. Smart move: in a format built on temptation, saying out loud what you will and will not accept is the best protection there is.

This is the house where anything can happen. Remember: Billy, Emma and Engie share a past. Billy already kissed Engie outside of Occupation Double, and our read is that the door between those two is not fully closed.

On Emma's side, the relationship with reality is still flexible. She told Alexis that Billy never told her he was closing the door on her. Alexis's reply, with no detour: he simply does not believe her. A line that sums up what a lot of viewers have been thinking for a few weeks now.

« Excuse-moi Emma, mais je ne te crois pas. »

And in the middle of it all, there is Engie. She is at the heart of the conversations between Billy and Olivier. Olivier made no secret of his intentions: he is seriously thinking about building something with Engie this week. A week when, let's not forget, the contestants sleep together. Perfect timing. Or explosive timing, depending on which side of the bed you are on.

Billy and Engie's story never really ended. Put them in the same house as Emma and Olivier for a week, and something is bound to give.

Olivier's name came up in the second house too. Imane took the time to tell Engie clearly that Olivier is her top 1 right now. Engie, for her part, did not close the door on him. Two girls, one guy, two different houses: this week is off to a promising start.

Things get more complicated with Jacob. An ambiguity still hangs between him and Imane, especially since Jacob let slip an indirect « Je t'aime OD » meant for her. Imane looks at Olivier, Jacob looks at Imane, and Olivier looks at Engie. The perfect square.

The challenge

The kissing challenge: strategy before romance

First activity of the week in the mixed houses: the kissing challenge. Each house had to score more points than the other. The rule that changed everything: each house chose which contestants in the other house had to kiss.

Both teams went for pure strategy, picking pairs they knew perfectly well had no desire whatsoever to kiss.

HousePair chosen in the other houseResult
House 1Alanna and JacobThey did not dare. No kiss.
House 2Alexandrie and FrédérickThey kissed, but half-heartedly
Points first, feelings later.

The moment was as awkward as it gets, and that was exactly the point. By forcing kisses nobody wanted, the challenge mostly created discomfort that fuelled conversations for the rest of the night.

Our verdict
Alanna and Jacob gave up the points rather than fake it. Alexandrie and Frédérick did it for the team. Two ways to play, and both will be discussed at the next debrief.
