Rébecca and Jérémy leave OD Panamá. Middle finger, secret kisses, Sabrina and Frédérick, Billy and Émilie: the full October 18 recap.
Some Sundays of Occupation Double you watch with one eye on your phone. Last night was not one of them. A double elimination, a middle finger that is still making the rounds, a romantic escape at the foot of a waterfall, a debrief dinner that turned into a trial, and a couple swearing, hand on heart, that it is not strategy. Missed the October 18 episode, or lost track between two notifications? Here is everything, without getting lost in the names.
- Rébecca and Jérémy are eliminated from OD Panamá.
- Sabrina and Frédérick go climbing, admire a waterfall, then spend the night together.
- Charles-Philippe and Mathilde go see baby turtles and explore their connection.
- At the debrief dinner with Alicia, Sabrina and Imane apologize. Emma and Rébecca do not.
- Billy and Émilie make it official. Emma calls it pure strategy.
- Enzo and Emma are left out of the deliberation table, with no chance to defend themselves.

Rébecca: she lived everything at 100%, even what she should not have
Rébecca
Jérémy
Imane
OlivierLet's be honest: this exit had been brewing for days. Rébecca's reputation in the houses had started to crack, and the episode did nothing to save it. The moment that set social media on fire: a few hours before her elimination, cameras caught her giving the middle finger behind Imane's back, her biggest rival of the season.
But the real turning point was Jérémy. Rébecca had told him that, for her, a kiss on the lips meant making things official. Message received, police officer reassured. Except that later, she joined Olivier in the bathroom and pushed for kisses away from the cameras, explaining that a kiss did not necessarily mean much. The other contestants did the math faster than we did.
| What she told Jérémy | What she did with Olivier |
|---|---|
| A kiss on the lips = it is official | Suggesting kisses off camera, in the bathroom |
| She wants something serious | "It does not really mean much" |
Where the episode surprised us was the goodbye. Before leaving, Rébecca went to apologize to Imane, and the conversation turned out to be remarkably mature. Online, viewers praised Imane's calm, but also Rébecca's vulnerability: she admitted she got lost in the adventure and struggled to control her impulsiveness. According to Showbizz, most fans agreed with the deliberation table's choice, while still giving her credit for leaving with her head high.
Even Rémi Desgagné stepped in. Minutes after the broadcast, he asked fans to go easy on her, reminding everyone how young she is and that she lived her emotions without calculating every move for the cameras. And at home in Quebec City, Rébecca got a finalist-worthy welcome: gold balloons on her bed, flowers, candy and a "Bon retour Becca!" sign, followed by a very emotional video call with Zhara, eliminated earlier this season.
Jérémy: the cop who never got to close the case
Jérémy is the collateral damage of the night. He arrived with the wave of new guys earlier this month and fell for Rébecca from the very first introductions (she already followed him on Instagram, to the point of knowing his dog's name). On paper, a great story. In reality, it ended as fast as it started.
His problem: he never had time to build a place of his own in the adventure, so his exit makes far less noise than Rébecca's. Classy to the end, he left her a simple "Que du love pour reb" under Rémi's post. Being the second name in the envelope is a tough job.
What our readers predicted
Before Sunday night, we asked you who would leave the villa. Here are your predictions, next to the verdict.

Votes received before the Sunday, October 18 elimination night. Up to two picks per person, so the total exceeds 100%.
Our readers called half of it. Rébecca was tied at the top of the predictions, proof that her exit had been brewing in viewers' minds too. Jérémy, on the other hand, did not get a single vote: his elimination was the real surprise of the night. And Emma, tied with Rébecca at 50%, stays in the hot seat for next week.
The vote for the next elimination night, Sunday, October 25, is open at the top of this article. Pick up to two names: the public's verdict lands in your inbox before the show.
Sabrina and Frédérick: climbing, a waterfall, and the rest
Sabrina
Frédérick
JacobNow for the good news. Sabrina, back in the game with Jacob since Tuesday, got the most cinematic moment of the week with Frédérick. On the menu: a climbing session for two, then a quiet pause in front of a waterfall, in a Panamanian setting that makes you want to book a flight.
And since OD is still OD, we learned later in the episode that the two spent the night together. For Frédérick, the Sept-Îles real estate entrepreneur who only had eyes for Alexandrie when he arrived, the plot twist is complete. For Sabrina, it might be the connection she has been looking for since day one.
Charles-Philippe
MathildeMeanwhile, Charles-Philippe and Mathilde had a date of their own: watching baby turtles, then taking the time to explore their connection. Less explosive than a night together, but on OD, the slow burns are often the ones that last.
The debrief dinner: two apologies, two silences
At the debrief dinner hosted by Alicia, the girls' house turned against Sabrina and Imane. Both chose to own it: they apologized for their behaviour, in front of everyone. A move that does not happen often on this show.
What did not go unnoticed is who stayed quiet. Neither Emma nor Rébecca apologized that night (Rébecca would only do it with Imane, right before leaving), even though Emma has been making her own waves in the houses too. For viewers keeping score, the contrast was hard to miss.

Billy and Émilie: strategy or real feelings?
Billy
Émilie
EmmaBilly and Émilie used the episode to confirm their relationship and insist on how sincere it is. Problem: part of the house does not buy it at all. The biggest skeptic? Emma, convinced the whole thing is 100% strategic.
Allow us a small reading between the lines: it is hard not to wonder whether Emma has fully digested the fact that Billy walked away from her. Doubt is fair game in a show where every alliance can weigh at the deliberation table, but bitterness is never far behind.
| Team "it is strategy" | Team "it is real" |
|---|---|
| The timing is very convenient for the game | Billy and Émilie say it loud, in front of everyone |
| Emma is convinced of it | Emma may not be the most neutral judge |
Enzo and Emma: the default couple who could not plead their case
Last hot file of the night: Enzo and Emma. Their duo, often seen as a "default" couple rather than a real crush, does not have good press in the houses. And they did not even get the chance to defend themselves: left out of the deliberation table, they had to watch the others decide without saying a word.
In a game where a reputation is made and unmade in a single episode, that is never a good sign. If we were them, we would watch our backs this week.
