Invited by MLSE, five One Way creators lived the first NBA game in Quebec City: an empty court on Friday, a sold-out Raptors vs Heat game on Saturday.
Some invitations you don't turn down. On the weekend of October 3, One Way was invited by MLSE, the organization behind the Toronto Raptors, to experience from the inside a moment Quebec City had waited a long time for: the first NBA game in its history, at Centre Vidéotron. Five of our creators made the trip. Here is how the weekend unfolded, from an empty court on Friday night to a sold-out arena on Saturday.
- Invited by MLSE, five One Way talents attended the first NBA game ever played in Quebec City, on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
- On Friday night, they had the Centre Vidéotron court to themselves, with no players and no fans.
- On Saturday, in front of 18,474 fans, the Miami Heat beat the Raptors 129 to 105.
- In between: Bistro Le SAM at the Château Frontenac and a night at Les Enfants Terribles.
An exclusive invitation from MLSE
As part of the 2026 NBA Canada Series presented by Bell, the league staged a preseason game between the Toronto Raptors and the Miami Heat at Centre Vidéotron. A first, plain and simple: the arena, opened in 2015, had never hosted an NBA game, not even in the preseason.
MLSE chose to invite a handful of influencer agencies, two or three in total, for about ten creators at most. One Way was one of them, and our team personally handled every detail so our talents had everything they needed.
Why this game made history
The five One Way talents on the trip
Five creators from very different worlds, from sport to design to YouTube, together for the same weekend. That is the strength of a roster: one invitation, five communities reached.

Friday night: the court all to themselves
The weekend started with a rare privilege. On Friday night, with empty stands and no players on the floor, our talents got to step onto the Centre Vidéotron court. A few shots, plenty of photos, and that special silence of an 18,000-seat arena waiting for its big night.

Quebec City, at the table
Between their moments at Centre Vidéotron, our talents took time to enjoy the city. Staying at Hôtel Le Terminus, they shared a meal at Bistro Le SAM, the signature restaurant of the Château Frontenac, before a night at Les Enfants Terribles.
They weren't alone: other creators invited by MLSE were also part of the weekend, including Félix Dolci, from the Rizzi et Rizzi agency.

Saturday night: prime seats for history
Then came the moment everyone was waiting for. On Saturday night, our talents watched the game from highly coveted seats in a packed Centre Vidéotron. On the court, the Heat beat the Raptors 129 to 105. In the stands, the atmosphere had every bit of a historic night, with several well-known Quebec personalities, including Olivier Primeau and Gaël Comtois.
