A roulette for a trip to Aruba, Mathilde clears the air with Alanna, Engie still believes in Billy, and a flash elimination where Olivier picks Imane. October 28 recap.
Wednesday night, OD Panamá packed a whole week into one episode. A roulette that decided who flies to Aruba, a tense clear-the-air talk between Mathilde and Alanna, Engie still convinced about Billy, and to finish, a flash elimination nobody saw coming. Here is everything you need to know.
- Trip of the week: Emma and Enzo fly to Aruba after a roulette draw.
- Tristan removes Alexandrie and Mathieu's names, and the couple does not agree.
- Jacob is still shaken by Imane's friendzone, and Mathilde explains herself to Alanna about Tristan.
- Engie believes Billy's choice is strategic. Billy says his feelings for Émilie are sincere.
- Flash elimination: Olivier chooses Imane, and Engie leaves the adventure.
A roulette for Aruba
The trip of the week was announced early: two contestants fly to Aruba, an island just north of South America. To decide who goes, the hosts organized a draw with a twist.
The roulette held only three names. Each time the hosts drew a contestant, that person had to stand up, remove one of the names on the roulette and put their own in its place. The names kept changing depending on everyone's choices, in both houses. In the end, Emma and Enzo were drawn and are flying to Aruba.

EnzoOne move did not go down well. Tristan removed Alexandrie and Mathieu's names, arguing that these couples had already spent more time together. Alexandrie and Mathieu did not agree. For context, Alexandrie has already gone on several trips, not always with Mathieu, an advantage Tristan and Alanna have not had since the start of the season.

During the debrief at the boys' house, Olivier confided that if he had been able to choose a girl to fly away with during the game, he would have picked Imane over Engie. A line that would take on its full meaning by the end of the night.
On the other side, Jacob is still in tears. Since Imane friendzoned him in the jacuzzi during their trip, he feels like his world is falling apart. His second choice, Mathilde, is not very popular with the boys right now: during the open files game, she asked a question about Billy and Émilie that the boys saw as shaped by an outside perception of their relationship.

Mathilde gathered her courage to go talk to Alanna about last week. While the houses were mixed, Mathilde kissed Tristan three times. Knowing that Mathilde had a strong interest in Tristan at the start, Alanna saw it as Mathilde seizing an opportunity. Worth remembering, though: it takes two to make that kind of choice.
Tristan, for his part, was clear. He is really set on Alanna, and in his view, it takes a lot more than a kiss to build a connection with someone.

TristanEngie still believes in Billy
At the girls' house, Engie confided that her initial interest in Billy has been on her mind since the start. She believes it was purely strategic on his part not to continue the adventure with her. In her eyes, every time they play games together or end up side by side, everything they say lines up, proof of their compatibility.
Still, a choice is not strategic simply because it does not go the way we hoped.

ÉmilieFlash elimination: Olivier chooses Imane, Engie leaves
No deliberation table this time. The principle of the flash elimination was simple: each contestant had to choose who they wanted to finish the adventure with. A crucial choice that left Olivier last, facing Engie and Imane. A rushed decision, but he followed his heart and chose Imane. Engie was eliminated.

Imane
Engie (eliminated)The goodbyes at the girls' house were emotional. Engie had arrived later in the season with Juliette and Mathilde, and the three had become very close.
At the boys' house, she took a moment with Olivier. He explained that he had a harder time reading her, that it was nothing against her, and that things felt more natural with Imane. Engie then took a moment with Billy to share her intentions. Between the looks and the hints, it was clear her interest was still there. Billy answered that his feelings for Émilie are sincere and not strategic, despite what the girls' house has been suggesting since the start of their relationship.
