OD: Construction Double premieres January 4 on Crave, blending renovation and reality TV with Cath Peach and Pézie Beaudin.
January 4 will mark a new chapter for the Occupation Double universe. First announced on October 27 during a daily episode, OD: Construction Double is a brand-new series that extends the iconic dating show’s concept, this time into the world of renovation and design.
Conceived as one of the prizes awarded to the winning couple, now known as Arnaud and Laurianne, the series will premiere on Crave on January 4, 2026, with an additional broadcast planned on Noovo.
Two former contestants, two creative visions, one challenge
At the heart of the concept are Cath Peach and Pézie Beaudin, both former Occupation Double contestants, tasked with transforming two chalets at Domaine Pine Hill in the Laurentians. A setting that naturally invites a clash, and celebration, of creative approaches, where every design decision matters.
Cath Peach, known for her expertise in interior design and renovation through her show Cath Peach rénove on Noovo, won OD Grèce. Pézie Beaudin, an interior designer, also took part in that same season. Together, they must reimagine spaces that will ultimately be evaluated not by a panel of judges, but by a couple emerging from the Occupation Doubleuniverse.
A format perfectly aligned with its time
While Construction Double fits seamlessly into the Occupation Double brand, it also arrives at a particularly strategic moment. In Quebec, interest in renovation, design, and lifestyle content continues to grow, driven by a collective desire to rethink how we live, inhabit, and experience our spaces.
This new OD spin-off is also supported by strong digital momentum. In September alone, content related to OD Chypreranked first among Bell Media’s most-reaching digital content across all platforms, in both French and English. On Crave, episode views increased by 119%, while OD Chypre: Les Inédits saw a 208% growth compared to the previous season’s extras.
A release strategy designed to build daily engagement
All seven episodes of OD: Construction Double will be available on Crave starting January 4, 2026. The first two episodes will also air on Noovo at 6:30 p.m. that same day, followed by a daily broadcast at the same time beginning January 5.
By blending reality TV, renovation, and familiar personalities, Occupation Double continues to expand beyond the traditional dating format, offering a hybrid series aligned with current audience expectations. A smart way to kick off the new year, by building something new.
